“when I remember you upon my bed,
and meditate on you in the watches of the night;
for you have been my help,
and in the shadow of your wings I will sing for joy.

Psalm 63:6-8
There is just so much beauty and praise in the Psalms. A lot of times when I am scouring through my Bible without any real aim, I find myself drawn to the Psalms. I love this verse because it illustrates my current prayer life. When I am spending my days and my nights glorifying the Lord in all things, I feel joy.
The Bible tells us, so many times, to come to The Lord in thanksgiving and while giving praise. When I meditate on the Lord and all of the blessings that He bestows upon me, my days are different. My normal, monotonous days start to be filled with light. He turns even the grey days into something so special and praiseworthy. He adds sparkles to my daily routines.
Delight in the Lord. Spend time focusing on the positive and the blessings, even in the trials. Be thankful to God for all things because in all things His will is done and we know that His will is perfect and good and true and praiseworthy.
