So… I am a new Christian and VERY new to Bible journaling. I stumbled across it only a few weeks ago, but fell in love with the concept. I am not an artist by any means, so for right now, I’m just using the Bible I have and starting with simple tools, like Crayola’s twistable colored pencils. I’ve done a couple of pages with hills, mountains, lakes… and to be honest… it kinda looks like a second grader did it, but like I said, I’m not an artist and I’m very new. But it is making my study and devotional time much richer and happier.

    • Hi Aneesa & welcome:)

    • That is how I started and all that matters is you grow in your faith. The art is the fun side that you will also grow in as you go. Have fun and welcome.

      • Thank you very much! I appreciate it. I have a couple of pages done in the Psalms now. Right now, I’m not really *trying* to do the art, so much as just reading my Bible and grabbing my pencils when I feel connected to something. So far… it’s very inspiring and surprisingly therapeutic in a way.

        • That’s what I do too. Let the art come to you as you are growing in your faith. It makes the art that much more enjoyable to look at later.
