Journaled Romans 3.22-24:: We are made right with God by placing our faith in Jesus Christ. And this is true for everyone who believes, no matter who we are. For everyone has sinned; we all fall short of God’s glorious standard. Yet God freely and graciously declares that we are righteous. He did this through Christ Jesus when He freed us f […] View

At least I really hope so…🥰
Grieving is such a hard, personal thing. I’m so glad we have Jesus to walk with us and to hold us when we just don’t have the strength to walk.
I love this artwork, too. I’m going to try something similar soon. 💙💗💜💛💚
I adore this, Amy! I don’t even like the new stamp set but you made this so beautiful by doing your own thing with it. I’ve been wanting to try the wax resist technique, too. Watercolor is my favorite so I really love all of your posts!
I have yet to do this Print & Pray on fabric thing and the only thing that’s stopping me is I have TOO many P&PS printables to choose from and TOO many ideas swirling around. LOL! I love all of the things you come up with though, Cristin and one of these days I am going to tackle one of these lovely ideas.
I love it, Amy! I’m wondering about your gritty surface though. Was it just to add texture or did it affect the font of your handwriting somewhat? BTW, I’ve been loving all of your tutorials in watercolor.
I follow Illustrated Faith on Instagram as @Strawberry.Audrey. Instagram is probably my favorite way to be part of this community other than IRL. I have found IRL friends and it is also how I hooked up with my Charlotte area Bible journaling Meetup group!
Oh my gracious! How amazing to have a 3 in OVER A THOUSAND chance to win and girl, you KNOW I mean that sincerely. After being able to spend that amazing weekend in Atlanta with so many sisters in this spectacular community and really HEARING from so many hearts I am blessed to have found y’all! Talking about how amazing our Great, Big, Awesome…[Read more]
I’m pre-addressing and pre stamping my envelopes. I LOVE being an encouragement to others BUT I’m TERRIBLE at sending people mail. So I’m trying to think of ways that will help keep me going. I also think it will make me accountable to do it! I’m excited for this challenge. Encouraging others is definitely one of my gifts and Happy mail is such a…[Read more]
I am reading a book by Gary Chapman on anger as I have begun to struggle with it in the last 5 years or so. It can be really frustrating when it’s something you didn’t struggle with before and then shows up. I’m growing in my walk with Jesus so why would a negative trait show up in the midst of that?? The book has been helpful because it breaks…[Read more]

Love this! I also LOVE waves, the beach is Heaven on Earth to me. When I am there I think how AMAZING Heaven will be since the beach is my tiny comparison in my finite human brain. Anyway, love those waves and the knowledge that our Heavenly Father is still the Master of our storms!
Daddy and daughter dates at the “fifties diner”. My dad would spend these times with me and my two sisters separately but also together. It not only gave us a close relationship with him but with each other. And it gave us an earthly example of God’s love for each of us.
Bible journaling is my time to be still with my Heavenly Father. It is a time of restoration, refreshment and creating in the Holy Spirit. It is a gift that continues His pouring into me as I put in my time with Him. It is an outpouring of His overflow as the community shares with others about Jesus amazing love and God’s amazing grace and mercy.
Some one once said “we have translated the Bible into many languages but never to a creative one” and that is exactly what Illustrated Faith is striving to do; provide a place to see the bible through a creative mind.
