This morning I stood at the back door beside my oldest kiddo, bird watching. We spent months with no birds, and as a bird lover that made me so sad. Today there wasn’t one, but eight blue jays flying and landing

Yes!!! I’m such a believer in what we see as delays often being divine intervention. I try hard not to fight such things. Thanks for sharing!

I shared with you last month how I’ve been using my Illustrated Faith Praise Book to keep my sermon notes. I’ll admit that yesterday I pulled three bent up pages out of my purse and used all the tricks to flatten

Bekah you bless me so much girl!!! I miss you but love that I can still hear from you here & on IG. This has been so true in my life as well. Being God’s people and living as “the church” means that you will get messy and it usually comes at what we think to be an inconvenient time…but God. In His sovereignty, He knows exactly what they need. When we put aside our busyness and our own problems to meet others in the place of theirs, God shows up. Every. Time! Thank you for this encouragement to keep on being ‘the church’ to those around us. <3

Since becoming a teacher I have had to learn to be patient with the ‘inconveniences’ that students create… I have become more patient with them… Recently I was taking a van full of kids out and one of them had forgotten their workbook. This delayed us about 10 – 15 minutes. I rolled my eyes and said “oh well”. Then once we were back on the road we came across a car accident due to black ice. Instead of being involved in this accident which we would have been if we hadn’t been delayed… We were able to help. That made me realize to NEVER doubt God’s inconveniences or delays… You never know the difference it will make in yours or someone else life. Amen to what you shared Bekah. I just wanted to share this with you & others as what you said reminded me of it.

When life throws me an extra dose of crazy, I find myself in the Psalms. A lot. They read like songs, so lyrically sweet and timely. The last few weeks have been pretty eventful, and I’m grasping at thanks. I

Yes, this has been the yearning of my heart, too. For so very long I have been trying to do it on my own strength which is not only ridiculous but impossible! I am finally learning to ask for His strength to overcome my weakness in compassion for others and, oddly enough (lol), He has shown up EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. Thank you, God!!
