Love this article! My daughter just asked me yesterday if she could get her own journaling Bible! Up until this point, she’d been using some small freebies they handed out at a local Christian book store near the Bible journaling supplies. Any suggestions on a good journaling Bible for kids, or do you use the same type you would use for yourself?!
Elaine – of course it goes without saying your artwork on this page is beautiful as always! I also am not someone who is not good at slowing down and having F.O.B. time, so I can only imagine how you must be feeling right now. Sending prayers up for healing, patience and answers for you!
These are amazing! I absolutely love how they turned out, thank you for sharing your beautiful work and reminding us that beautiful art doesn’t have to come from products we buy, but beauty can be found in everyday objects around us, too!
Thank you for this challenge – I love sending and receiving mail but since children I haven’t sent as much as I used to! When we walk to the mailbox my children are always hoping for mail, but rarely receive it especially with most of our family in the same town as us. This challenge gave me the idea to send them mail, too! Even though we live in…[Read more]
I can’t even handle the amazing-ness of these new collections! SO excited! For the current basics, I really love all the black and white products. In a time pinch, they are so easy to use either keeping with a black and white theme, or I add it if I have a color element I want to use, but don’t want to take the time to dig through my supplies to…[Read more]
This collection certainly radiates joy – I love it! One of my fond memories from childhood is going to see my grandparents in Mitchell, SD and visiting the Corn Palace each summer. We didn’t live close by, so it was always a treat to spend time with them and we always looked forward to going to the Corn Palace while we were there. Not everyone…[Read more]
I first stumbled across Bible journaling on Pinterest, and it came at a time when I was trying to dig deeper into my faith and study the Bible more. I had purchased a few Bible study books thinking that would get me started in studying the Bible, but honestly when I opened them up I was just overwhelmed. While it was a pretty visual that caught my…[Read more]
Elaine- You are so brave to share your story, I am sure that was not an easy thing to do. Your strong faith is inspiring. Thank you for reminding us that sometimes, no matter how strong our faith, it can be difficult to understand or accept God’s plan and timing, but that is part of the journey. Prayers to you and your husband!
In this season of life, bible journaling brings me joy, helps me learn more about God’s word and has helped me grow in my faith journey. Prior to bible journaling, I sometimes just didn’t know where to start when it came to spending time reading my Bible, so I love the prompts from the devotions to give me the direction I need, and then in turn I…[Read more]
Thank you gals for all of the super cute items to celebrate the season! I’ve already decided some of the items like snowflakes and mittens might have to carry over into the other winter months because there is so much cuteness I don’t know how I can fit it all into December!! You always continue to amaze me with all of the beautiful designs that…[Read more]
Love this video and the message/reminder of keeping it simple during this busy time of year! Does the tab punch you showed in your video work for most of the print and pray and devotional kit tabs?! It would be so much easier than cutting them out!
Some one once said “we have translated the Bible into many languages but never to a creative one” and that is exactly what Illustrated Faith is striving to do; provide a place to see the bible through a creative mind.
