Bible Journaling Kit | Glow Field Notes

A note from Shanna: Hiya friend, welcome back! Last month, we spent some time noticing grace and all the beautiful things it teaches us about the character of Jesus. We stood in awe and paused to notice the way He met us right in the middle of our ordinary lives and gently changed us over time. This month is all about that glow! One thing to keep in mind this month is that the glow doesn’t come from you; it is a reflection of Jesus, and for me, that is a huge relief! Knowing that it isn’t my job to manufacture the glow because the work has already been done, I simply need to share it. How beautiful is that? I am sure all of us can relate to the idea of thinking we need to be perfect and shiny to share that glow, but the older I get, and the longer I walk with Jesus, the more I realize He will meet us right where we are. All we need to do is walk in obedience and share His love; ← that is the glow! There is something I want you to know before you turn the page. That final section of Glowing in the Valley almost didn’t happen. It came together at the last minute (thank you, Kristina and Amberleigh), and if I am being completely honest, I am so proud of Amberleigh for the way she showed up in the middle of a valley to remind us what it looks like to still glow there! I am deeply thankful for her heart and for how she always points people back to Jesus, even in the hard places. I want to encourage you to move through these field notes slowly and intentionally this month! Let yourself notice what God might be stirring in your own heart along the way.
