Devotional | True Courage

True courage is one that is placed not in self or any element of this fallen world, but in our Heavenly Father. It is the kind of courage that steps forward- not trusting in our own abilities, but in the ultimate power and faithfulness of the Creator of the universe. It is courage rooted in this truth: we know who God is, we have seen Him at work, we trust that He will be faithful again, and we can trust Him with the outcome of every circumstance. This month, I would love to walk with you through several passages of Scripture that show us God at work in the lives of His people – strengthening their courage not by pointing them back to themselves, but by revealing more of who He is. We will see His power, His mercy, His presence, His grace, and ultimately, His unwavering faithfulness.
