God’s not looking for capability, He is looking for availability. I think all too often we think that God can’t use us. That we, “don’t know enough about the Bible,” “aren’t a good enough person,” “don’t have that big of a reach,” etc. What a lie the devil is telling us. It’s simply NOT true, friends. God isn’t interested in WHAT we don’t have, but what we DO have.
God doesn’t want to challenge us. He wants to CHANGE us, but first we must be available to Him. How easy it is nowadays to get so caught up in the uncertainty of this world, the anxious thoughts that might fill our minds or the unsettledness that is all around us. What if, we just made ourselves available to God? What if we made it a priority every day to get into His word? What if we prayed to Him and told Him that we were ready and available for whatever it is that He has for us?
