Hope Springs Up

Every year, as spring approaches, I’m always encouraged by the resilience of flowers that begin to push through the winter ground. Wriggling through the cold, hard ground, little heads of yellow and blue begin to lift their faces toward the sun. Those little buds are reminders to hold out in persistent hope. For the Christian, our hope in Christ is endless. Its roots reach deep. It carries us through the harshest of circumstances and the best. It makes our joy evergreen, never manufactured, and always reaching upward.
