“My words of the amen, the faithful and true witness, the beginning of God’s creation.” Revelation 3:14. “Amen” is a Hebrew word meaning “surely” or “truly.” The word we often use to praise God, affirm His authority or to close blessings and prayers. In 2 Corinthians 1:20, Paul uses the word to emphasize that the promises of God are a resounding “Yes!” in Christ. A reflection of Isaiah 65:16, “the God of Truth” who is perfectly trustworthy, faithful and able to guarantee His Word. Jesus as “the Amen” guarantees the truth of God’s promises. Promises that are still available to us today. Sweet friends, I pray you know how much you are seen and loved by the One who created you.
