It’s in the aftermath of evil doings that we have the opportunity to embrace hate or “Lead with Love.” We open our arms to those who love us while accepting the invitation from Jesus to extend that same love to our adversaries and pray for those who oppose us. This is the greatest posture we can hold. We don’t seek revenge, we long for reconciliation. We don’t get aggressive, we choose to do what love requires of us. We connect our hearts to our hands and ask God to do a good work in and through us. Leading with Love is what we signed up for when we chose to follow Jesus.
This is who we are called to be.
