Try Jesus

“Try Jesus” is a new printable collection beginning this year, inspired by a moment God placed directly in my path not too long ago.

One ordinary trip to the grocery store turned into a holy pause when I noticed two worn, water-soaked index cards scattered along the road – run over, weathered, and easily overlooked. Written across them were the simple yet powerful words, “Try Jesus,” along with tender notes and a short testimony from the 73-year-old man or woman who had created and shared them. Their quiet faith, offered so humbly to strangers, stopped me in my tracks and stirred my heart deeply.

This collection was born from that sweet, unexpected encounter and carries the same message of gentle invitation and steadfast hope. Try Jesus is meant to encourage hearts to pause, reflect, and lean into the truth that Jesus meets us right where we are – often in the most ordinary and surprising places. This first printable in this collection is designed to share that message of faith, testimony, and trust, reminding us that sometimes the simplest words can carry the deepest truth: when life feels heavy, uncertain, or worn down, try Jesus.

If you’re looking for a sweet and simple way to share the Gospel, Try Jesus is made just for you. Print as many as you’d like, cut them out, and place them throughout your community as small invitations pointing others to the love of Christ. What better way to begin the New Year than by sharing the greatest gift ever given to us?

I love how the Lord placed those cards directly in my path and used them to spark an entire collection centered on the simple reminder to share the Gospel with others. If only I could find the sweet person who placed those cards in that grocery store parking lot and let them know how deeply their faith and obedience have continued to ripple outward.

Oh, what a ripple it will be.
