Seriously friends could this line be any cuter? I love the colors, the adorable birds but most of all I love the message behind it. As we were developing this line I just kept thinking about bible journaling the seeds planted in our life and how we find freedom through Christ as those bloom. I am so thankful for each one of you that have shared your stories of bible journaling and documenting those seeds in your life which is why this line made perfect sense, plus that owl? Are you kidding me? ADORABLE!

As I was listening to people talk about it during our show at creativation (a show where retailers come and buy product for their store) I heard so many of them say “this is perfect for spring” or “this is perfect for Easter” which just makes my heart sing. Honestly YES IT WOULD – it is so nice when you dream up, pray over and work on a line that in the end they “get it” without us even having to say a word. The team over at Bella Blvd has done it again they have just been amazing to work with and I am so thankful for this team!!!!!

I just can’t wait to see how you guys use seeds of faith in not only your bible journaling but in those beautiful scrapbook pages as well! Check out this wonderful video from the Bella Team to check out some of our favorite bits!

Doesn’t it just make you want to break into a little dance? Ya. Me too! So excited about this fun, inspiring, beautiful line!

I am new to bible journaling. I am intrigued by the idea of using it as a way to praise God. Also, what a beautiful way to record and remember all of the things the Spirit teaches me.

I have been bible journaling for a little over a year. I saw a flyer in my local Christian bookstore about a bible journaling workshop. I attended, began searching Pinterest and the internet for anything I could on bible journaling and found Illustrated Faith. I am so excited to daily be in the word, and see what God is leading me learn each day.

I have been doing bible journaling for about a year after a difficult situation. Since I love scrapbooking, this is a great way for me to reconnect to God. Love all the colors, the designs and the little messages in each piece. This new collection is awesome; the little birds are super cute and would look great on my bible!

    Thanks for the opportunity!

Thank you for this beautiful collection Shanna! I started Bible Journaling last summer while in a very dry season of my faith. I wasn’t spending time in the word as much as I once had. When I did attempt to study the Word I never seemed to get anything out of it. It was during the Summer Arts Festival in my community that I stumbled across a tent selling Journaling Bibles and learned about the world of illustrating your faith. I just loved the creativeness of it all so I started doing some research when I came across Illustrated Faith. I have been hooked ever since and my walk with the Lord has thrived! I have not been in that dry season since and it’s so refreshing. Your new collection, Seeds of Faith is absolutely beautiful and reminds me of one of my favorite books, The Secret Garden every time I look at it. Those birds and butterflies are so lovely. The Secret Garden actually represents where I was spiritually before I discovered Illustrated Faith and Bible Journaling and where I am now. When Mary first discovered the garden it was dry and withered and through her care she made it bloom and created in it a refreshing haven of flowers, animals and life. I feel like I was like that garden, all dried out and withered and along came God and a new way to dig into his Word and now I am no longer that dried and withered garden but a vibrant, blooming garden. When I look at your collection I am reminded of that :) I would love to use this collection to document my journey in my Bible and Praise Book.
Okay, so I totally just wrote a book pouring my heard out! Haha. Thanks for the chance to win!

I’ve technically been Bible journaling for over a year, but making it a regular thing is something new for me.

  6. Norma Rodriguez 7 years ago

I first started bible journaling back in June after attending a bible journaling workshop at my local christian bookstore. I had before that always had a prayer journal but after the workshop I loved the whole idea of being able to document what I was learning in the word. Thank you illustrated faith for all that you do!! Love this line, its so adorable!!!

  7. Jenny Preston 7 years ago

I’ve been a note taker in my bible for years – I love doing the symbols inductive method as popularized by Kay Arthur, plus adding my own thoughts in the margins. I found Illustrated Faith this past year and am *loving* combining the two styles. I love connecting my creativity and my analytical side together to more fully grasp God’s word. I feel like I’m remembering more than ever!

i have been buying the kits since the first came out, but i didn’t really start using them until April of last year and i’m loving it!!

  10. Ms.JoGrant 7 years ago

I am VERY new to bible journaling. I live in Bermuda so shipping stuff is a huge issue for me, so I have not purchased any of the kits. But my goal this year is to start simply reading my bible daily and then from there, journaling about what inspires me in the word or what messages stand out.

I’ve been off and on journaling this past year. I would like to be more consistent with it though! I love the Seeds of Faith collection. Perfect for Spring!

  14. Kristin 7 years ago

I first stumbled across Bible journaling on Pinterest, and it came at a time when I was trying to dig deeper into my faith and study the Bible more. I had purchased a few Bible study books thinking that would get me started in studying the Bible, but honestly when I opened them up I was just overwhelmed. While it was a pretty visual that caught my eye on Pinterest, once I learned more about what Bible journaling was and why people were doing it I thought it sounded like something that would be perfect for me! I started following the Illustrated Faith community on Facebook, Instagram and reading the blog for a good 3 or 4 months before I finally jumped in and started it myself about 8 or 9 months ago. I love to be creative and do crafts and projects so this was a perfect way to connect those two things and help me dig deeper. I’m so grateful for this community and have learned so much from all of the wonderful people who share their message, stories and creativity!

This collection is so beautiful!!! I discovered Bible Journaling Winter 2015, and stalked the Bible Journaling (Illustrated Faith) Community’s page until I got my own Journaling Bible for Christmas! I was so intrigued about this new way to get into the bible and connect with His word! And of course how pretty it was doing it!! I was finally brave enough to make my first entry right after New Years… So I just celebrated my bibleversary this month! Along this past year’s journey, it’s amazing the things I can see God moving, and how I’ve been growing… He’s given me a tribe to call my own, and friends, my sisters in Christ ♥ All because of bible journaling!

  16. Jessilyn Holp 7 years ago

I just came across bible journaling online through pinterest and then joined an online facebook group. I haven’t done much yet, but looking forward to doing it more to help me be more focused on the Word and live it out. Thanks for the opportunity to win!

I am brand new to Bible journaling! I just started this month. After a couple of rough years, I knew I needed something “fresh” in my Bible reading. So I searched Bible journaling and found Illustrated Faith videos on YouTube. I ordered a journaling bible and some sticker collections to get started. I am journaling through the Psalms this year and this collection is just too cute!!

  18. Lydia 7 years ago

I have been bible journaling for over 2 years now. I’m pretty sure I did it long before I knew it was a thing. I have always been a hands on learner and had a creative soul. I felt God’s call to share my creativity with the ladies at my church by starting a Bible Journaling group. We haven’t met for a few weeks, but I’m certain this beautiful collection will keep us coming back for more really soon. Thank you so much, Shanna, for making Faith mainstream, and for sharing your journey with us. I can’t wait to get my hands on this kit!

  19. Judy Covington 7 years ago

I learned of bible art journaling watching YouTube videos. I was so inspire by this expressive way of getting ito the word. I have spent the past few months watch videos and collecting supplies. I recently purchased the Beautiful Word Bible and a few of the monthly devotionals. I feel so connected with this form of growing closer to God and meditating on his word. I am so blessed that I have this discovered this form of worship and that there is resources out there to help me walk this path.

What a beautiful collection! I am new to this bible journaling journey! I started a week ago, that’s how new! I’ve had one bible my entire life that’s almost falling apart, and notes are fading, but I searched for a new bible and thought about investing in a large one so that I can create imagery & then came across this beautiful community of Believers, & praising & worshiping through art! Brilliant! I was immediately drawn to this site and the products, that I didn’t know where to start! I tweeted y’all and asked, & im so grateful that you guys at illustrated faith tweeted me back with great insight & information! I wish I can buy everything, lol little by little as I start my journey with bible journaling! Thank you for this opportunity! Blessings!

I have been Bible journaling since the very beginning of the very first post. I was a subscriber to studio calico for several years and used to follow Shanna when she was on the design team there. So the very first time she talked about her blog post on the studio calico boards is when I started journaling!

I’m very new to Bible journaling, but the Bella team and Shannon have been my mentors and inspiration for many, many months prior as well. I’m having such fun in the Word, and it makes me so happy to really “get” some of the scriptures and imbed their truths better by lingering a bit on them.

    Thanks so much.

  41. Stefany Brizuela 7 years ago

I’ve just started this week to Bible journaling. I’ve seen it before in different social media streams but this time I thought it would inspire me to really reflect on what the Bible says and not just read it. Being creative and journaling opens up a whole new perspective on scripture and that’s what inspired me to begin this journey. I want to apply this to my daily life not just toss it away.

  42. Susan Ramirez 7 years ago

I started almost five years ago. It was helping me get through the stress of my father and my husband having the same cancer at the same time. When I lost them I wasn’t able to touch my journaling bible again. It’s been a year and I am just now trying to begin again. Thank you for this opportunity to win your beautiful gifts. God bless you all.

  43. Melissa Burud 7 years ago

Want to continue on this journey with my daughter and show her this is an awesome community to be a part of! Also, to include the Bible in our everyday. =)

What a beautiful & simple kit!! I have been officially Bible journaling since Christmas 2016, so I am a complete newbie!!! My Christmas gift for myself was some of the devotional kits when they were on sale, as this was my first devotional experience as well. I was so excited about the products that I bought my Mom some of the kits & tools as well to share these with her!! I’m a scrapbooker, so when I was introduced to your website & products everything spoke to my heart & I’ve found a whole new meaning to illustrating My faith. Thank you for this blessing & opportunity!!

  52. KellyJean 7 years ago

I started Bible Journaling about a year and a half ago. I had attended a few classes and always left feeling like the classes lacked “substance.” They were fun classes and the demonstrations were neat. But I left each class always feeling there seemed to be something missing.

I found IF on iG and began praying about my own personal process of Bible Journaling. The more I prayed, the stronger feeling I had to SHARE. So I prayed about sharing.

One year later, I’ve written (well, the Lord has written through me) “Bible Journaling 101,” an intro class to the HEart of creative Bible Journaling. Along with this intro class to Bible Journaling, the Lord has delivered and allowed me to lead 2 six week and 1 four week Bible Journaling Studies. Over the course of the past year, one of the six week studies was offered twice. This past fall I served in leading a Prayer Planner Class that introduces a Daily Bible Doodling (DBD) process which introduces journaling on a daily basis through the fun art of doodling on planner pages.

Each study and class I’ve offered has amazed me because of how the Lord touches, leads, and encourages the participants! It’s as though the studies were written specifically for each person present. I’m still so humbled that the Lord would choose me to write and lead these studies and classes.

What I discovered missing from those early classes I first attended was JESUS… God’s Word. In each of the classes I attended, the focus was more on the ART. So I wrote the studies and classes I’ve offered with a focus on the HEart (emphasis on the HE- Jesus.)

It has been an amazing ride! I say that as I tighten my grip and begin to write the third six week Bible Journaling Bible study. Whoa! Prayers are appreciated :)

  55. Angie B 7 years ago

I’ve been Bible journaling for nearly 6 months now, and it’s been such a game-changer for me. I was never a “quiet time” person, and always felt SO guilty about that as I have amazing faithful women in my family & my life who are great examples for me! But this — this really got me EXCITED about opening the pages. Not just in desperation for answers, not just for filling in the Bible study blanks, but for connection. I broke open the plastic and did my first page at a workshop with Shanna and now I can’t stop! Thank you, Shanna, for this gift you’ve shared with us! It’s personal, but you stepped out in obedience and shared. I love hearing through the podcasts how it’s changing not only lives & habits of others but really a whole industry, too! Yay!

  56. Cindy Young 7 years ago

  61. Danielle VanErem 7 years ago

I have been journaling for about a year and a half now! I love it! I have always been a painter/creative person and my bible time was getting a little dull. It was hard to motivate myself to get in the word, but combining two passions in one has been amazing! I learned about bible journaling from a friend and pinterest and the rest is history :)

  62. Michelle Steverson 7 years ago

I have been bible journaling for almost two years now. I had been struggling with my faith for quite some time. I was browsing Pinterest and came across a pin. Since that time I have repaired my relationship with Christ so much. I know I have a long way to go still, but this journey has been amazing. I am journaling in two bibles now, one will be for my daughter on her graduation day next year.
I can’t thank this community enough for pulling me closer to my faith. Thank you.

I’m new-ish to Bible journaling. I tried in the past but got hung up on wanting things to look perfect and I can’t draw for anything. So I stepped away from it. Then I came back and I’ve really been just allowing myself to relax in the Word. Ironically, relaxing has helped me be more creative and connect in deeper ways. This new collection looks so cute!

I love to bible journal with my best friend, and I think it would be so fun to win this and share it with her! We have lived next door to each other for almost 4 years and we are moving…not too far, but farther than next door so now the times we are together we will cherish so much more! Thanks for the opportunity, and I can wait to see this new collection!

  74. Amy 7 years ago

So, with the last month or so is when I found out about bible journaling and that they have ones you can color. For me coloring is a very relaxing, minimal stressful activity that is fun. I noticed I haven’t been spending as much time in my original bible, so it hopes to dive deeper into the word daily, I decided to venture off the beaten path and bought one. I have to say it has changed my life. Not only is it great to color and have the space to be creative, but it’s nice to share it with others! I will always love this bible!!

  84. Audrey Strawberry 7 years ago

I’ve been Bible journaling for approximately 20 months but I didn’t discover Illustrated Faith until the spring of 2016, I think it was. Lists of Faith was the first kit I was able to buy so whenever that was available, I guess.
I first learned about journaling “by accident” (when God is involved, I don’t believe in accidents). I joined a ladies Bible study through my church that was “Bible journaling”. I showed up with a Bible, a note journal, a pencil & pen thinking that we just took notes on specific passages/books we read. Boy was I surprised to find out it was so much more!
I have always enjoyed art. It was my “major” in high school and I pursued some in college. However, as a homeschool mom of two boys, a lot of my art had been pushed aside for a long time. I still did some sewing & quilting a bit and learned to crochet but my drawing, painting, etc had been replaced. Or I thought it had. Once I learned that first night at my study what Bible journaling was I couldn’t believe it. Like I said, God doesn’t work in coincidences, He had this in His plan for me. He knew how much I needed to use these gifts He had given me in my life again.
2015 was, by far, the hardest year I can remember having. Literally in the first three months of that year I lost 4 family members. Two were naturally due to old age and God took them home, but two were a terrible tragedy that’s still difficult to wrap my head around, almost two years later.
But God!! In His infinite grace He allowed me the gift of discovering Him in my art again. And it has helped me to heal and be restored and grow more in the grace and knowledge of the glorious love of my Heavenly Father.

I just started bible journaling a few months ago, after a big move that brought my family to NY from MD; leaving my parents, friends, job, and church. I felt the need to connect and had seen bible journaling on Pinterest. I finally took the plunge and ordered the Blessings or Lessons kit when it was on sale, and it truly sparked a desire to continue.

I have been bible journaling for almost 2 years but really didn’t discover IF until a year ago. Once I discovered IF it was petal to the floor in creative worship and I haven’t looked back. Not everyone gets it, not everyone agrees with it but I have learned SO much in the past year and God keeps meeting me to show me amazing and hard things. The journey He has taken me on has been one of strengthening and as hard as it may be at times its been beautiful!!!

I’ve been journaling for about a year now. I was so eager to dig into the Bible but I was intimidated be new to my walk with Christ. But seeing others connect to Christ through their creativity made it fun and exciting rather than intimidating and helped me so much.

I love this collection! I’m fairly new to Bible journaling, still discovering my style and experimenting with different supplies and embellishments. This looks like it would be fun & easy to work with ❤️

I’ve been bible journaling for about two years I think. It’s amazing to look back and see things like my word of the year for each year and see what I have been taking note of.

I have been Bible Journaling for about a year. There is really nothing like it…

I’m coming up on my first full year of Bible Journaling and I am so excited to see what this next year brings!

  92. Cindy 7 years ago

I saw Shanna Noel’s bible online back when she was first bible journaling. I got excited, contacted her asking all kinds of questions. I went out and bought a bible like hers and got started. Bible Journaling does help to bring the Word alive and real.

  93. Rebecca 7 years ago

I have been Bible journaling a little over a year now :-)

  94. Jan 7 years ago

I’m started Bible journaling about six months ago. I love how it gets me really meditating on God’s word by spending more time in it!

  95. Kim Lawson 7 years ago

To be quite honest, I haven’t spent much time in my bible at all for a while now. And I’ve been feeling disconnected from God, even though I know that isn’t really possible. I was on Instagram looking at creative planning posts and there was a photo that caught my eye. It turned out to be a bible journal and I saw the #biblejournaling and clicked it. It’s a “whole new world”! ? I’ve recently been feeling the pull to do more journaling and traditional scrap booking (where I’ve so far only done planners) and I feel like this morning I figured out why I’ve felt that pull and it’s all come together for me RIGHT HERE. So my bible journaling with God begins now.

I’ve been bible journal-ing since this past summer, though I had known about it for much longer than that. I really started when one of my friends started and encouraged me.

I Praise God for this wonderful community of Faith Illustrators that has seemed to blossom over the past couple of years! I am a crafter and lover of Jesus and enjoy sooooo much following all of the Pins, Blogs and Instagram posts! My girlfriend and I taught a little mini Bible Study two summers ago where we illustrated our lessons each week with a different type of technique – it was soooo much FUN (but a lot of work ?). Since then I have simply enjoyed watching how the IF community has grown. My husband and I are older parents with 3 very active teenagers and between my regular Bible studies and supporting my children in all of their sporting events – I have not given much time to my creative interests. I hope to change that in this coming year – I hope to find a balance that will allow time with Jesus, family AND art!

I just started Bible journaling around Christmas last year, so I’m a newbie. I wanted to spice up my time with the word, and it has!

  100. Maggie Burnham 7 years ago

I’m only a few months into Bible Journaling. When I discovered you could learn the word and be creative at the same time, I was hooked! I’ve been a Christian most of my life, but wasn’t very familiar with the Bible and knew this would be a good way to learn. Creating is a passion of mine, so it was the perfect combination:)

I have only been Bible journaling since April 2016. I received my first journaling Bible for my birthday. Even though I am 48, I consider myself a toddler when it comes to understanding the Bible. I thought I had a relationship with God but I was wrong! I am now reading my Bible every night, I write a verse every day and I am attending a Bible Study with my daughter on the book of Revelation….what an eye opener! Thank you!

  102. Donna Berry 7 years ago

I have been Bible journaling for years even before it had a name. I did it with my mom where we would draw, color and put stickers in her Bible, but we eventually stop doing it. After my mom died i decided i wanted to get back to Bible journaling and found out about Shanna Noel and thus began my journaling again. I have been journaling for a few years now and so much growth has happened. At first in my journaling i was doing it just for the pretty pages, but now I journal as part of my worship and studies.

I’m fairly new to Bible Journaling. My friend, Tina, first introduced me to it and I’m so glad she did. Once I found IF, it was a done deal!

I started Bible journaling in Sept 2015 (the only way I know this is I wrote the date in the front of my Bible- thanks past me!!!). I am enjoying it so much. I was inspired to try Bible journaling after watching some YouTube videos & Instagram pics.
My Bible is very full and I considered starting a new one for 2017, but part of me didn’t want to move out of it yet. I am excited to see how much I can pack into it this year!
I love this community and am so thankful for the supplies & printables you have created. Thank you!!!!!

  105. Nicole 7 years ago

I learned about bible journaling in 2015 I believe. I saw a post from Shanna Noel when it was just her blog and there was no webiste or Illustrated Faith community on facebook – well at least I was not aware of it at the time. I’ve been in love with it ever since! I must admit that I don’t jump in as much as I would like to because I let other things get in my way but I am very happy to have stumbled across Shanna!

  106. Tammy Schlinker Lever 7 years ago

I haven’t started yet! I have been seeing a lot of it everywhere in the blogverse and I am slowly thinking that this is something that I would like to try! A bible journal would make an amazing heirloom to pass along in my family!

I’ve been journaling for about a year with the “pretty stuff” but have always written thoughts, prayers etc in my bible for the past 30 years. Thanks for the chance.

  108. Megan Gillman 7 years ago

Its official… This is my #2 year. I have displayed my retired Bible in my living room on a book stand and its great to look back at the journey i have been on. The dates from last year and look at His word EVERYDAY. Its a piece of art? No… its a piece of me and my family growing in His word. Thank you Illustrated Faith for this…. onto my next journey with Christ for this year 2017 in my new Bible!!!

I am not new to art, but I AM new to Bible Journalling. I really want to get a journalling Bible. I wish they made one in the MSG version, but since I can’t find one, I hope to get an NLT one for my birthday in February.

  110. Nickie 7 years ago

I’m fairly new to Bible journaling…I stumbled across it one day by accident while searching for a particular pen to write with in my Bible that wouldn’t bleed through the pages. I used to scrapbook alot and I love to craft/make/create things ALMOST as much as I love to dig in for Bible study. Bible journaling seemed like the best of both worlds! I don’t think I’ve been this excited about something in years!!?

  111. Michelle Salazar 7 years ago

Not new been taking notes in my bible for ever but so thankful that I now feel free to do take notes and color in my bible without feeling guilty about marking my bible up. It is freeing and fun now and I love the colors on this line of paper so pretty!

  112. Allison 7 years ago

I received my journaling bible last year on Mothers Day. I heard abut Illustrated Faith bible journaling on a blog that I follow. I fell in love with it and told my husband about it so he got me the bible as a gift. I have just started journaling this month. I am so new and I have been scouring the internet for inspiration and am in awe of what I have seen. I am using my journaling as a way to better remember scripture and mark areas that will help me and my family in our lives. Thank you for all the inspiration!

I found Illustrated Faith through Dayspring online while I was looking for cards. It peaked my interest as I love to do all sorts of Arts and crafts. I watched a few YouTube videos of Shanna and others and also started seeing pics of Bible art journaling on Pinterest. The very first devotional set I bought was Blessing or Lessons and I’m actually still finishing it. I’m a mom of 3 little ones and it can be challenging to find the time to ‘color’ in my Bible. I’ve started letting my oldest do it with me and that has been fun! This set made me think of working with my girls and would love to use it with them!

  117. Jackie 7 years ago

I’ve been bible journaling for just over a year now, and on to my second journaling bible! For some time before I started it, I kept seeing a couple friends who would post their illustrated faith expressions and a bit about what they were learning through that passage or message. It looked like such an innovative concept to be able to freely and creatively express your time in the word, and o course I was awed by so many of the things they did. After some time of observation and a period of dryness in my own reading times, I felt the Lord pulling me in the same direction and I knew this was the next step He had for me. It came as such a refreshment, and once again I became excited to spend that time in His word with Him. It’s still a great joy as I learn more artistically as well as get more personal in the bible. So thankful for how it’s changed my walk with Him!

  118. Tess Crawford 7 years ago

I have been Bible journaling for almost two years. I just counted my pages and looked at my first page yesterday! It’s so fun to look back through my Bible to see all that God has been saying to me over these last two years. It’s almost like my Bible sings!

I have journaled about six months now. This a way I can leave a legacy to my daughter. I have battling pancreatic cancer and God has sustained me for a divine purpose. Each day, hour and second is a gift and by highlighting those special scriptures my daughter and husband will have a piece of my soul that I hold the dearest, knowing, serving and worshipping out Savior. So this is not for me, but a journal she can always know how much Jesus and the Bible have meant to me.

I’ve been bible journaling for almost a year. I came across it on Instagram and knew I needed to try this form for worship. This community is amazing and I even got my mom to join in!

  128. Karen Tegeler 7 years ago

I have been wanting to try this form of worshipping for at least a year but am scared spit-less. I’m not an artist at all. But I enjoy other’s art work and have even purchased some of IF’s great help. Now I just need to make it happen.

I’m new to Bible Journaling. I moved to the States in August to teach here and discovered it at free workshop at a local Christian store. It’s been a blessing in helping me feel less homesick and closer to God during a stressful time :)

  130. Devon Williams 7 years ago

I have been bible journaling for about 2 months now. I always tried to do a devotional or journal here and there during the week but never felt truly connected. I saw an Instagram post from an author I like who bible journals. That’s where the spark ignited. Her journaling made the message of the words jump out at me. When I started journaling myself, I felt a greater connection to the words I was reading. Bible journaling allowed me to have a greater connection AND be creative. It’s a win win!

  131. Sam G 7 years ago

I started dabbling in Bible journaling last year.
I came across your devotion kits back in November. I ordered a few and dove in. I LOVE Bible journaling. Your products make it so easy and I love my time spent in the Word. It’s my favorite time of the day!!

I started bible journaling about a year ago. It was something I just stumbled upon when I discovered a journal bible at lifeway. I started just taking notes in my journal bible but then couldn’t help but get creative with it. One day I just decided to search Pinterest on bible journaling and I found illustrated faith! The rest is history. My relationship with Jesus comes alive when illustrating my faith in Him. My love for him has grown tremendously and His love for me is now known that it is ever present!

My daughter got me my first journaling Bible for Christmas 2015. I had been seeing some Facebook friends post their Bible art, and it intrigued me, so I had been talking to my daughter about it. When I opened the Bible Christmas morning, I was very excited to get started. It’s definitely therapy for the weary soul!

  135. Ellie 7 years ago

I’ve been bible journaling for a few years now. I’ve always written in my bible, but my bible art journaling came out of my love for mixed media and art journaling in general. I love the way it has both brought me closer to the Lord and personalised the bible for me. In a way nothing else ever has :) This release is amazing, an de I think has got to be my favourite to date. I can’t wait for it to hit the shops.

  141. Heather Hefner 7 years ago

I’ve been bible journaling for around a year (a little less) but it’s just recently become something I do everyday. It’s really become one of my absolute favorite ways to worship. I love the creativity it sparks in me. I love the way it facilitates “meditating” on His word all day. I love that my children and husband see my submersion into the word. I love being able to look back and see my heart illustrated in the pages of my Bible for different seasons.

I’d wanted to do it for a long time, i loved the idea of using art to get into the Word, but i was kinda intimidated and wasn’t sure where to start. My mom got me a journaling Bible and took me to an intro class, and after that I’ve been learning more and more along the journey. Your products have been very helpful, and i love all of them!!

  156. Sandy MacDonald 7 years ago

I started by using my superseded Salvation Army song book in April last year as an entry to get creative in my faith while recycling/repurposing something that was no longer useful. In around September I cracked open a bible to illustrate too.
I switch between the two and use this time to soak in God’s word in a way that complements the depth of studying it.

  157. Alison 7 years ago

I have been journaling in my Bible for about a year. I actually began writing key words in various colors to draw attention to certain passages before I knew about illustrated Faith. I found IF on Instagram and began looking at things also on the website and Pinterest. I am hooked and so love this process as a way to worship and connect with my Savior!! Thank you for the opportunity to use new products!

I consider myself a newbie to Bible journaling. I bought my first journaling Bible in March, 2016…and the 2nd in September, 2016…and the 3rd for Christmas, 2016. I’m still trying to figure out my “style”, but I have plenty of room to grow.

I started bible journaling in January 2015, not long after Shanna Noel started posting her work. Her ideas instantly inspired me to create in my bible.

  165. Shelby Koelz 7 years ago

I’ve been bible journaling for about 5 months now and it has connected me to God and brout a peac into my life i can’t fully understand. After a long time of seeing pics on Pinterest and think “wow how pretty ” or “I could never do that” I Finaly stared to research bible journaling and get a perspective on what it would mean to me. I Finaly decided to take the plunge when I saw a few people I looked up to had also started on this new adventure. I’m so glad that I did because I feel like it has opens and exspanded my creativity. I feel closer to God in a time in high school when it’s hard to be different and not follow the crowed. I go to a very diverse school and with that comes many difrences that create conflict. I used to think why don’t I have a lot of friend at school and it would bother me. But through bible journaling and being closer to God I have connected spiritually with more people and deeply value their friendships.

  166. Shannon Howard Godfrey 7 years ago

I would say I’m fairly new and actually happened upon it by accident…although I’m positive God worked it all out. I showed up at church on a Wednesday night last August to begin a Bible Study I had signed up for only to realize the class I intended to take didn’t begin until September. In looking for a place to go I ended up interrupting a Bible Journaling class that had begun that night and they invited me to stay. I’ve been going ever since and Bible Journaling has become an integral part of my study of the Word.

  167. Linda Norris Cunningham 7 years ago

I am actually new to bible journaling. I have always studied my Bible, wrote in the margins notes that pertained to what I was studying. I also have many notebooks full of studies and thoughts. I saw bible journaling on the Internet and immediately it changed how I studied and took notes. I absolutely love making it personal yet beautiful at the same time.

Hello ? I have never tried Bible journalling but I would love to. But currently I am doing this prayer binding thing where I write all my thoughts, well most, my prayers and wishes and my apologies and the things I am thankful for to the Lord. It somehow helps me connect to God more. ?

I have been bible journaling for almost a year. It has been such a game changer in my faith life! It totally clicked with me and now I’m sharing it with as many people as I possibly can!

I got my first journaling bible for my birthday last spring. It took me a while to feel comfortable drawing in my bible. It’s still not an everyday occurrence, but it is a sweet several times a week practice that I look forward to.

I have been journaling in my bible for about a year and a half using bits and bobs from my scrapbooking and craft supplies, along with the bible studies I have done. I purchased the Goals with Grace kit to try out a monthly devotional kit for the first time and have found myself carving out more and more time in the Word. It is so inspiring to be able to combine my faith and creativity in such a moving way!

In November of 2015 I started journaling in a bible that a friend gave me that was hers. That same month I entered a bible giveaway contest and won my very first journaling bible and it was the beginning of a creative side I knew I had but never explored. Now I am so comfortable I do multimedia in most pages and love to share with the bible journaling community. I have a sisterhood that Is like a second family. Such a blessing.

I’ve been journaling 2 years, not always consistent but always connected to my Savior when I do. My relationship with Him has deepened as I’ve spent time journaling what He has put in my heart.

I started Bible Journaling about 3 years ago but I get to do more in the last 2 years. Actually, Shanna got me interested it when I joined the group on FB and met some friends who never stop encouraging each other.

I’m brand new here! I can’t remember how I came across bible journaling but as soon as I googled it I was routed to IF and ultimately dayspring. I have everything I need to begin. I’m just trying to figure out the best book to start in! I love illustrated faith and am excited about this journey!

I have been Bible Journaling since the beginning in 2014. I remember when Shanna first started posting about it on her blog. I fell in love and it has made me so much stronger in my Faith and I feel God in my life so much more since I started. A big hug to Shanna.

I started journaling a little over a year ago… i’d always used art/crafting as way to engage and express my faith, but had never thought about doing those things in my bible… I think I first saw bible journaling on instagram!

I’ve been Bible Journaling since Dec 2015. I’ve always loved taking notes in my bible and was mindlessly going through the tags on insta when I found Illustrated Faith! Since then I’ve not looked back. I enjoy spending time in the Word and make sure to carve out time to illustrate my faith as often as I can!

Thanks for hosting such a beautiful giveaway. You can just see Shanna’s heart behind each detail!

I’ve been Bible Journaling for over 20 years. I just didn’t call it “Bible Journaling.” I’ve used multicolored highlighters, pens, pencils… but I never thought to paint, attach notes etc…. I guess because I always had a notebook/journal to do all of that in. I still have multiple journals that I put my notes in.
