Revival Camp Process Video by Jillian aka Hello Jillsky | Fellowship

Happy Monday, campers! It’s been so fun to see how everyone has made preparations for Revival Camp.  From packing your supplies to getting your notebooks and bible journaling embellishments prepped- it really is like one big summer camp! I think half of the fun of camp is bonding with others. And while we don’t get to stay up late chatting with bunkmates, we do get to be part of a community that is cheering one another on toward revival. How fun!

Today I am sharing my process video for the Fellowship entry in my traveler’s notebook. Much like the last entry I shared, I’m using patterned paper from the Print & Pray Shop, this time from Tamara Arcilla’s set Friends 4Ever. The theme of her set is friendship and it is the perfect match for this week’s devotional which is all about community! I also chose to include some of the pink tissue paper that the devotional kit was packaged in- nothing wasted, right?!

I don’t think its a coincidence that my pastor’s sermon last Sunday was about fellowship. He shared that when we live life together we’re experiencing the highs and the lows, the celebrations and the failures, the joys and the heartaches, in community. And as Llanet points out in her devotional that includes the hurts from others.

She reminds us that Jesus’ disciples, those closest to him, denied him, betrayed him and doubted him. Llanet writes, “the mark of true fellowship is not the absence of conflict but the presence of a reconciling spirit”. How comforting to know that our Savior knows what rejection, sorrow and loneliness feel like. And when we experience the same we can turn to him and follow his perfect example.
