I can’t remember a project I was so excited about in a long time. Advent is such an important part of our lives and I am excited to have a devotional that is REAL and RELATABLE, something that I can easily apply to my life RIGHT where I am at and not “when I am a better Christian” or “have it all together”. I am also excited to have a solid plan of how I am going to take this advent season reflect on it in a personal manner in my journaling bible.

Today is the first day of Advent and we start out with Hope! Jess Connolly wrote the insert for today and I love everything she had to say but here is what really stuck with me, “take heart, hope is on the way!” With all the business and crazy this time of year can be it is important to just STOP and soak that in for a moment, how lucky are we?!

I have to tell you, starting this season off right feels so good already and I can’t wait to see where God take it! Are you following along with your own journaling bible? I would love to see what this season has done in your heart, please share below or on Instagram using #illustratedadvent and I will gather posts to share on my blog and inspire others.
Don’t forget to TAKE HEART, HOPE IS ON THE WAY!

Thank you so much for sharing. This is my first time doing a study of this nature. I am super excited as the Lord has done so many great things in my life and I look forward to where He is taking me this on this journey.Thank you.
