As I journal my way through the Created to Create devotional I am reminded yet again that one of the most important aspects of my Bible-journaling journey is to remain true to myself. By that I mean that when it comes time to decorate the margins of my Bible I don’t need to look somewhere else for inspiration, but rather I’m responding in a creative way that comes naturally to me.
Before I discovered Bible-journaling (and indeed afterwards as well) I could spend hours making scrapbook layouts, cards, and pocket-page albums – that’s where my created heart lies. So it’s very easy for me to take many of those techniques I’m familiar with using for scrapbooking and translate them into the margins of my Bible.
Today in my video I’ll share a quick and simple page using the Bella Blvd Illustrated Faith Whatever is Lovely collection and show you how to include patterned papers, stickers, transparencies and even machine sewing into your Bible.
