Hi, I’m Heather Greenwood of Heather Greenwood Designs. I am a modern-day hippie, mixed media artist, blogger, and Etsy shop owner. I am a happily married wife to my techy geek husband who is also a big kid and always makes me laugh. I have been blessed with three miracle children that we homeschool and keep us on our toes.
I have been a child of God since I was a kid. Even though I became a Christian early, there have been many times I wandered and rebelled. Thank God for his amazing grace!!!
God had been whispering through my worship pastor for many years to share my art worship through social media. That’s when I started my blog, heathergreenwoodesigns.com, and shared my art worship on Instagram and Facebook. I use the hashtag: #artworship
When I saw Shanna actually doing her art IN her Bible, rather than in an art journal, a lightbulb clicked on. It was another one of God’s whispers to me. Originally, my blog was about scrapbooking and it took a swift turn towards art worship and mixed media tutorials, thanks to all of God’s whispers through friends he’s brought into my life.
It’s always been on my heart to design, but I never really knew what that would look like. I had big plans to start designing digital scrapbook designs. God had other plans and It just wasn’t working out, I got busy and couldn’t find the time to sit down and design scrapbooking kits.
That’s when another lightbulb clicked on. I could hear God saying, stop thinking about scrapbooking and start thinking about art worship. That’s when I opened my Etsy store. I wanted a place for people to be able to share their faith in their homes. I wanted it to be something easy, just download, print, frame, and hang it on their walls.
I started designing 8″x10″ wall art printables, and then someone from the Illustrated Faith Community requested sizes that would fit in their Bibles. So, now I offer 5″x7″ sizes as well as 4″x6″ & 3″x4″ sizes which all fit perfectly in your Bibles.
One of my most popular blog posts is a tutorial on how to add them into your Bible as a “tip-in”.
Because “gifts” is my love language, I wanted to give you not only a freebie, but an exclusive coupon to my Etsy store. Use coupon code: ILLUSTRATEDFAITH25 for 25% off your total purchase, expires 3/31.
Here’s where you can find me besides the Illustrated Faith Community…
Thank you so much Heather, I can’t wait to see what you create for your store next!

Really enjoying this blog & all of the concepts! The link above for Heather needs an extra “d” in it tho. Keep up all the great work and ideas for us!

You are missing a “d” in her address so it does’t re-direct to her blog!

Love the free card Heather created for us but how do we download it?
PS Thanx for this wonderful web site. Journaling in my Bible has made my art suddenly relevant to how I want to spend my time and how to use that time for God.
