    Bible journaling is————- a way for me to document what God is speaking to my heart. It’s also a great way for me to remember what He’s saying (because I’m a visual learner… and creating a page causes His promises/what He’s saying to stick in my brain! LOL!)!

    Bible journaling is special way to become closer to the Lord, to find friends with similar beliefs and goals, to learn new art skills, to memorize verses, to be more familiar with scripture, to be grateful every day and to praise the Lord. I am especially grateful for Bible journaling because I have not been able to attend church in 10 1/2 years due to chronic illnesses. I am able to worship, and learn bed sound in a creative way. It is truly priceless !

    Bible Journaling is my “me time” and time with God all in one. As a stay at home mom to three littles, I don’t get a lot of quiet alone time so I treasure my time getting to Bible Journal while the kids are napping or after bedtime.     Bible Journaling is a way for me to basically kill two birds with one stone. I don’t have a lot of time in my days for arts or crafts or creativity just for their sake alone but I do make time to spend with Jesus on a regular basis so when I combine the two my time with the Lord is enhanced and I get to be creative at the same time…. feeding my soul doubly! It’s been a wonderful discipline.

    Bible journaling is my retreat.

    I lost my husband last year. Being only 37, this is something that never crossed my mind. Bible journaling helps me ease my mind, find some peace in the difficult times, and most importantly: reconnect with God! I can honestly say that I owe my sanity to this new hobby.
