Hi friends! This week I want to share a bible entry with you that I created with Abigail Clone’s new devotional in the Print and Pray Shop. The Pockets Full of Jesus Journal kit is just the sweetest and so much fun.
One of the devotional entries focuses on how we are uniquely created in the image of God (Genesis 1:27). I know I’m not alone when I say that it’s easy to know God loves us so much, but connecting that feeling with the heart can be a challenge. The enemy likes to make us think we aren’t loved, that we’re outside the bubble.
Such a lie! Our hearts are precious, and He loved us so much He sent His son (John 3:16). There’s nowhere we can hide from His love (Psalm 139). Nothing can take us away from Him (John 10:29). He calls us His children (1 John 3:1). We are expensive and bought with a price (1 Peter 1:18-19). So much love!
If you don’t believe it, ask God give you eyes to see how much He loves those around you. Because He will. And then He’ll show you how much He loves you, too. I know this because I experienced it myself. I never expected to see a glimpse of His love for me, but it happened. Protect your precious hearts, friends. You are loved!
On this entry, I went a bit wild with acrylic paint and covered most of the page in rainbow-y stripes. I wanted to focus on verse 27, so I made sure to leave this verse untouched. See below for a glimpse of the page after I applied the paint. If you’re not comfortable covering your entire page, you can use one of the extra pages in the front of your bible, or limit your rainbow stripes to the margins. You know your comfort level!
Thank you for joining me here today, friends! <3, Cristin
