Hiya, friend! I’m so glad you’re here for another session in the All Things New devotional kit! For session 7 I grabbed my kit, some mixed media supplies and headed to Romans 6. Are you ready to get started?
“We were therefore buried with him through baptism into death in order that, just as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, we too may live a new life.” Romans 6:4 (NIV)
In this session we are asked if there is anything in our lives we would consider “dead”. Perhaps a dream or maybe even a relationship. I love the reminder in today’s devotional that God is in the dead-raising business. There is nothing too difficult or beyond His mighty power-not even death! Pre-Jesus we were dead gals walking; and now we are able to walk in newness of life. How amazing is that?!
“…God gives life to the dead and calls into being things that were not.” Romans 4:17
Are you looking for a miracle? Is there a part of your life that has become dormant or dry? God is known for overcoming the insurmountable- giving victory to the underdog, parting seas and bringing the dead to life. Trust that He is up to something AMAZING, in His time and for His glory.
